fuckboy 101: good things to keep in mind
*men will say anything (and i do mean ANYTHING) to try to get what they want out of you. do not take words at face value. if he says something, he must back it up. words are just that- words. talk is cheap. actions tell the truth.
*no one is “busy” to the point that they can never hit you up. people will make time for things they want to make time for.
*arguing with a man you are not in a relationship with is a waste of time and breath and nobody got time for that 😴
*do not date one person at a time. key word is “date.” if you are “talking” to a person, you are single. if you are “just seeing where stuff goes” you are single. until there is agreed commitment on BOTH ends, you.are.single.as.hell. if he is not your boyfriend, you’re free to do as you please. always date multiple men. do not put all your eggs in one basket, ever.
*your time, your effort, and your energy is so damn precious. do not give these things out freely. these things need to be earned.
* if he said he was going to call or come see you at xyz time and he does not call/ show, do not stay up til all hours of the night waiting- go to sleep. no, do not cancel your plans. no, do not skip class. your life isn’t supposed to be put on hold for someone you’re not even with.
*you do not have to tell a grown man how to treat you. it’s better to move on than to stick around trying to convince him to treat you with respect. if he’s a grown ass man and he hasn’t learned how to be respectful by now, he never will. show him the door sis.
* the most important thing to remember: a man that wants to be with you, will. simple. no exceptions or excuses. it’s literally that simple. when you start thinking about it that way it makes it way easier to weed out time wasters.
